It was 1978 when Mauro Pratesi, an eclectic and ingenious elementary teacher from Casalguidi, a

small Tuscan town at the end of the hills of Pistoia's Montalbano, decided to create an idea that

he had been carrying in his heart for too many years, to produce spring mattresses.

In those days the spring mattress was an absolutely innovative idea, in fact, having lived for a

certain period in the United States where the springs in mattresses were a very popular reality,

he thought that this novelty would also be liked in Italy. the models of spring mattresses were

not many, but being more comfortable, durable and not requiring any maintenance, except to turn

them over during the hot and cold seasons, they took over very quickly to the great satisfaction

of the customers.The spring mattresses were certainly sober, but very effective and comfortable;

the springs allowed flexibility, non-deformability and perfect transpiration, the coir fiber

distributed the weight on the springs, the wool and cotton offered an ideal temperature during

the summer and winter seasons, the generally cotton fabric was robust, breathable and beautiful

to the eye finally, a skilful craftsmanship gave shape, with the help of a few machines, to the

spring mattress and consequently to a new way of sleeping.

This is how our story began; since then the evolution linked to the philosophy of well-being has

been constant and with an eye to the future, but always careful to give that added value that

only a skilled craftsmanship can grant, for this reason we add something more every day,

our experience.

The constant commitment to reduce artificial raw materials in favor of natural ones has given

us many satisfactions and above all has granted customers a pleasant and natural well-being.

We have always sought and selected the best innovative and certified technical materials to give

concrete and safe answers on anti-allergic and fireproof systems for the hospitality and nautical

sectors with its infinite customizations.

Thanks to the satisfaction of our customers we have been able to achieve multiple objectives;

at the end of the 80s we crossed the regional borders and started a distribution on a national

and international basis; in the early 90's we were among the first Italian manufacturers to

homologate a series of mattresses and upholstered beds in Class 1 IM that complied with the

safety regulations required in the hotel sector; in the mid-90s we developed a fabric against

mite allergens, then adopted by many allergists, breathable and washable, in short, with

effective technical characteristics and economically within everyone's reach; in 2003 we

obtained ISO 9002 certification for Company Quality; for almost 20 years we have been

painstakingly supplying mattresses for large yachts following all the needs of owners.

Always using raw materials and certified structures, it was natural to register a wide range

of products with the Ministry of Health such as Class I and CE marked Medical Devices which,

in addition to guaranteeing top wellbeing, benefit from the tax deductions provided for

Medical devices.
